Re: Away tickets collection @ Lincoln
I got there about 2pm and the process was fine enough, and the inconvenience of me and my mate having to leave the pub and go the ground a lot earlier than we would have liked was eased by the fact that the set up in the concourse is pretty good at Lincoln, with some decent choices on tap (I was on Impaler for the record). Got asked for ID and email and to recite my address before getting my ticket.
Lincoln was also the perfect set up, loads of space and a decent concourse once having to make your way into the ground earlier than usual. Could be a lot more chaotic and annoying at a ground in a cramped pedestrian area (Leyton Orient springs to mind), where there are a lot more fans trying to get in (Charlton away springs to mind) or where the concourse offerings are shite and there’s nowhere to shoot off to nearby if you get there early to get your tickets (Wycombe away springs to mind).
For me it’s still a load of baloney and won’t solve sod all other than shut a few whingers up on Twitter and piss a few of our diehards off week after week.
