newblueReally? He’s pretty generous to us but even more so to his own side. He reckons just about every player including the subs did well for them. They could barely pass the ball to each other. Of course we made it hard for them but after the first 15 minutes our keeper played as a rush back, they barely got out of their half.
Like him I thought it was a pen on Hansson. Wasn’t much remarked at the time but their player went into him from behind. Maybe didn’t give it because of our player’s hesitancy
I thought it was a fair and intelligent assessment of the game. He obviously watches Wrexham more than we do so maybe he did think they played well in the face of our quality? He makes the point that had they not had the resilience they do we could have walked all over them, and I think he's right. A less well drilled team might get steam rolled by us at some point.
