The flood gates have opened - next blues manager?! (24 replies)
Has anyone else noticed the noise and news reports suggesting Blues are looking for a new manager, or at least managers that are being linked to Blues?
This may be complete gobs***e, or their may be some basis towards it or completely disrespectful towards Mowbrays illness.
Either way, the media are beginning to look at the situation regarding Blues and are asking the same question, is Mowbray coming back or not?!
The rumour mill is already taking fold and it will only increase with random names such as Lee Bowyer and Clark being linked next like Bruce, erm, thanks but no thanks!
The club is not doing itself any favours by keeping to radio silence.
The only thought I can think of is that they may be waiting for the end of the playoffs to see if we can snare a good champ or up and coming league one manager.
If that's the case, then that sounds legitimate and showing due-diligence.
This is why an announcement is needed in plain English not an announcement that is subjective to different opinions.
If he is coming back - tell us the date.
If its July then it is too late and history repeating itself, just like when we waited too long to replace Rooney and Venus.
If he's not coming back - I would agree that rushing to get a manager would not be a wise thing to do as we need to get it right first time,
but at the same time it's needs to made sooner rather than later and communicated if that this is what the club are planning on doing, without giving away too many details regarding this.
There needs to be clarity going forward, but I'm surprised because under these owners we have outstanding communication.
If it is the case we are trying to get the best manager possible, then of course I would prefer them to explore this rather than rushing to make a decision,
However, if we are not told either way, we are none the wiser.
