Best thing about increased attendances for me is the tilton being full, even if the ground isn't. Proper atmosphere whenever there's no seats in the tilton. Safe standing helps that too
Birmingham City are looking to sign last season's loan hero Jay Stansfield on a permanent basis from Fulham

With over 18,000 STH plus pay as you go and away support. we should average well over 20,000
No bad for the 3rd tier
Superb last lap in the run from Alex Yee.
He had a very bad cycle accident a few years back.
I've been using the eurosport channels a fair bit.
Love the Olympic boxing but was struggling to watch whole sessions rather than just the british fighters on iplayer.
Where as eurosport seem to have a channel for everything.
Who else is watching the Olympics?
Incredible stuff over the last half an hour.

After a few weeks break, the lads are back with a bumper episode to discuss the latest Birmingham City transfers, rumours, friendlies, and short-gate.

What a finish that was, take a bow sir!

I’m learning how to play chess, can any players on here recommend any resources/websites etc. that will help learn some of the fundamentals and improve my game? Basically I know how all the pieces move and not much else
I’ve been on chess.com already which is pretty good but be good to know if there’s any websites or books or what have you that are a must for a new player

I'm about 1300 elo on chess.com, so fairly intermediate, on the lower end.
Depends what sort of content you want really. I really like Levy Rozman, or "Gothamchess" on youtube because I think he's both entertaining and instructional, but might not be a view you share.
He does have a book "How to win at chess" which I would recommend. He used to teach chess so I think he'd be a good starting place. Here's the amazon link for it: [www.amazon.co.uk]

Dion Sanderson fizzes a pass into Koji Miyoshi who finds Jordan James out wide. His cross is turned in by Alfie May and Birmingham have the winner at Walsall. "To go through a team and get that finish was excellent," Chris Davies tells Sky Sports.

Coach Dave Carolan has been at Birmingham City on two different occasions and has now returned to another of his former clubs in Derby County

As has been mentioned, I think you might be getting crossed wires with 08/09 which was a ware of attrition, we finished second with 54 goals, which is absolutely mental.
06/07 was decent, some thumping wins and some exciting ones, Wolves away being the pick for me, but there were a few 3-0s and 4-0s
Was watching the season review back last night (as you do, what a life we lead).
Was that the most underwhelming promotion of all time? I’m not sure we were “good” at any point that year. Seemed to get promoted through sheer force of will.
A few stand out moments like Seb’s goal at home to Wednesday and Clemence’s deflected winner at Derby, but my abiding memory of that year is everyone mostly being irritated by how crap we were.
Alfie Chang hasn't played for Birmingham City since suffering a serious knee injury during a training session last August
