The Tradouw river is easily one of the best runs in South Africa, but because it borders the arid Karoo desert, it unfortunately only runs once every two years or so. When it does though, you will see Cape paddlers flocking to Barrydale.

New video by tao: It is over 30 degrees, and it is raining. This is Zhejiang. I have been waiting for enough rain to run this creek for months. Finally I got it. The slide is super fun. For Kena, it was a step up in difficulty for her, but she handled it well, never losing her mental composure. Let's hope this is just the first of many great kayaking adventures of the summer.
