In Greece, workers went on strike to protest a controversial labour reform bill that would introduce a 13-hour workday. Deputies are set to vote on the draft law, which is expected to pass, on October 15, 2025. Nearly 10,000 workers took to the streets in Athens in a general strike that has disrupted public services, including transport, schools, courts and hospitals.
