Afghanistan refuses deal to give Bagram base back to US after Trump comments

An Afghan Taliban official said Sunday that a deal to hand Bagram air base back to the US was "not possible" after US President Donald Trump threatened unspecified punishment against Afghanistan if the base north of Kabul was not returned – four years after it was abandoned by US troops.
