This year’s Victory Day parade on May 9th highlighted Russia's strengthening ties with China, with Chinese leader Xi Jinping as the guest of honour. A man Vladimir Putin has referred to as a dear friend, Xi Jinping has met with the Russian president over four dozen times, showcasing their close relationship to the world.
