Brazil prosecutor charges Bolsonaro for attempted coup, plot to poison Lula

Brazil’s prosecutor-general has charged former president Jair Bolsonaro with attempting a coup to stay in power after his 2022 election defeat, alleging that he knew and approved of a plot to poison his successor, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
