M23 rebels announce humanitarian ceasefire in the Congo

Humanitarian workers in the Democratic Republic of Congo rushed to tend to the dire needs of those affected by the violence caused by the Rwanda-backed M23 group's incursion into the DRC. Provisional figures estimate that hundred have been killed in the space of a few days, with 3,000 people left injured, and many more at suffering from disease.
