Trump targets birthright citizenship, pardons more than 1,500 Capitol rioters

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday kickstarted his second term with initiatives backing the tech industry while targeting immigration, environmental regulations and gender identity. He also pardoned more than 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, including those convicted of assaulting police.
