Cost of living looms over Chad legislative and local elections

In Chad, only three days to go before parliamentary and local elections. It is the last stage of the military transition led by Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno. Over the past two years, Chadian merchants have suffered from the rising price of diesel fuel, essential for transporting their goods.
