Divya Deshmukh, “Thank you for all your love and support”

The Indian player and world number 1 junior girl Divya Deshmukh is at the World Chess Cup final after a roller coaster game against Women World Chess Championship match finalist Tan Zhongyi.

In an interview right after the game, Divya Deshmukh said, “I was winning at a certain point and then it got complicated. I think I messed up in he middlegame and I think I should have had a much smoother win. Tan put up such a good fight at a certain point.” Divya also added for the fans, “Thank you so much for all your love and support”

Regarding the two rest days Divya Deshmukh is clear, “I need some sleep, these days have been so anxious, I just need some sleep and some food”
