After Day 1 MGD1 was the only perfect team in the field, winning vs Mongolz, Barys.kz, Rishon LeZion Chess Club, and Uzbekistan. Day 2 also finished with MGD1 leading the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Teams, but this time they are equal with Hexamind.

Day 3 started in the best way possible for MGD1. They won their round 9 encounter, while Hexamind were held to a draw. Round 10 saw yet another win for MGD1, but this time their closest opponents Hexamind and WR Chess also won, keeping the tension in the event. The story repeated in round 11, and now with just 1 round to go, a win by MGD1 will secure the title. Victories by Arjun Erigaisi and Pranav V did exactly that, and MGD1 is the FIDE World Rapid Team Champion. Congratulations!
