Opening statements begin in trial of man who allegedly stabbed Salman Rushdie

The trial of the man accused of stabbing author Salman Rushdie is underway. The 77-year-old author was stabbed more than a dozen times back in August 2022 while speaking in front of a live audience. CBS News correspondent Michael George has more.
