Blue Jays RHP Jose Berrios (elbow) hits IL for 1st time in MLB career

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Jose Berrios was placed on the 15-day injured list on Thursday due to right elbow inflammation.

It marks the first time the 10-year veteran has been on the IL as a major leaguer.
