Saravi Earns Irans Third Gold at 2025 World Wrestling Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammad Hadi Saravi won a gold medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships on Saturday.

He defeated Artur Sargsian (UWW) 3-1 in the final bout of 97kg.

On his way to the final match, Saravi defeated Indian wrestler Nitesh Siwach 4-0 in Round of 16, and then beat Georgian Giorgi Melia and Kiryl Maskevich (UWW) in the quarterfinals and semifin
