Astros' Yordan Alvarez to begin rehab assignment Tuesday

Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez will begin a rehab assignment for Double-A Corpus Christi on Tuesday, manager Joe Espada said on Sunday.

Per Espada, Alvarez will play 'a few games' and serve as the Hooks' designated hitter Tuesday as he works his way back from a fractured right hand that has sidelined him for approximately 3 1/2 months.
