Slumping Giants in scramble at 3B with Matt Chapman on IL

Struggling on offense amid a six-game losing streak, the San Francisco Giants are in a scramble at third base after Matt Chapman went on the injured list and replacement Casey Schmitt also sustained an injury.

Chapman, 32, went on the 10-day IL on Friday with right-hand inflammation that contributed to no homers and just two extra-base hits over his past 14 game
