Minnesota United acquire Argentina's Nicolas Romero

Minnesota United FC acquired defender Nicolas Romero from Argentina's Atletico Tucuman on Thursday.

The 21-year-old Argentine center back signed a three-year deal with an option for 2028. He will occupy U22 Initiative and international roster slots.

Romero tallied two goals in 78 matches from 2021-25 with Atletico Tucuman, where he played with current MNUFC midfielder Joaq
