Brazilian defender Lucas Maia joins Henan FC

BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) club Henan FC on Friday announced the signing of Brazilian defender Lucas Maia.

"Lucas Maia has officially joined Henan FC after an agreement reached between both sides," the Henan club said in a brief statement, without giving any further details of the deal.

Henan FC finished eighth in the CSL last season. The 2025 campaign starts on February 22. <
