FIFA slaps Namibian club Orlando Pirates with transfer ban

WINDHOEK, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Namibia Football Association (NFA) announced Wednesday that FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Namibia's Orlando Pirates football club, effective January 31, 2024.

The ban, which results from unpaid dues to former player Aaron Yaw Ladakpa, prevents the club from registering new players, both domestically and internationally.
