Credit the Pittsburgh Pirates with a short memory.

One day after being no-hit for the first time in four years, the Pirates bounced back with a 9-4 win over the Washington Nationals in the opener of a four-game series on Thursday.

The Pirates (66-74) will look to build on the victory when theycontinue the series against visiting Washington on Friday.
