Bears announce eight season-long captains

Voted on by their teammates, the Bears will have eight season-long captains in 2024, four on offense and four on defense.

Coach Matt Eberflus announced the list to reporters Monday at Halas Hall. It consists of quarterback Caleb Williams, receiver DJ Moore, tight ends Cole Kmet and Marcedes Lewis, linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards, cornerback Jaylon Johnson and safety Kevin Byard II
