Orioles add SS Nick Maton to active roster

The Baltimore Orioles selected the contract of shortstop Nick Maton on Monday and designated catcher David Banuelos for assignment.

Maton, 27, appeared in one game for the Orioles this season as a late-inning defensive replacement at second base on June 20.
