Padres edge Cardinals for 4th win in 5 games

Jake Cronenworth drove in the decisive run to lift the visiting San Diego Padres past the St. Louis Cardinals 7-5 on Tuesday night.

Manny Machado hit a home run as the Padres won for the fourth time in five games. Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run.

Padres starter Dylan Cease allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings. He struck out four and walked four. Yuki
