Israeli talent Lior Kasa leaves Maccabi Haifa for Genoa

JERUSALEM, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Israeli football talent Lior Kasa, who played last season for Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Premier League, has signed with CFC Genoa of the Italian Serie A.

Kasa becomes the sixth Israeli player to compete in Italy's top league, following in the footsteps of Tal Banin, Eran Zahavi, Suf Podgoreanu, Dor Peretz, and Shon Weissman.
