Villa’s record at Spurs since they were promoted back to the Premier League in 2019 is surprisingly reasonable. They’ve won half of the six fixtures played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but the three defeats include both the most recent game and Villa’s very first league fixture after promotion.
New Spurs manager Thomas Frank is yet to beat Unai Emery in five attempts, though it should be acknowledged that Brentford and Spurs aren’t quite the same proposition.

Villa’s visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the earlier of two Premier League matches scheduled on Sunday.
Television viewers in the UK can expect to see at least half an hour of Liverpool v Manchester United preview content on the broadcast during and after the game in north London.
Spurs v Villa will kick off at 2.00pm on Sunday 19th October.
