Aston Villa take on Crystal Palace in a hastily rearranged Premier League fixture at Villa Park on Sunday.
Villa have made a dreadful start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, drawing at home against Newcastle United and losing away at Brentford. They were awful in both games and Unai Emery has work to do to get his team back on track.

What time does Villa v Crystal Palace kick off?
Because of the elongated machinations of Palace’s European football situation, this Premier League fixture was initially scheduled for Friday evening despite the likelihood that UEFA’s decision to demote the Eagles from the Europa League to the Conference League.
With Palace now needing to play in the second leg of their Conference League qualifier against Fredrikstad on Thursday, a tie they narrowly won to confirm their place in the league phase, their visit to Villa Park was moved to the rarely used kick-off slot at 7.00pm on Sunday 31st August.
Travelling between Birmingham and London late on Sunday nights is always a thrilling experience so I’m sure it’ll be just fine for the away fans.

Villa’s home fixture against Palace was selected for broadcast at its original kick-off time and will still be shown live on Sky Sports on Sunday.
