Under  hashtag #MERDZEVOV, march in support of political prisoner,  well-known businessman and entrepreneur Samvel Karapetyan starting on  the central boulevard of Yerevan

ArmInfo.A march in support of political prisoner Samvel Karapetyan, a well-known businessman and entrepreneur, accused by the Pashinyan government  of publicly calling for the seizure of power, is kicking off on the central boulevard of Yerevan.

A large number of people have gathered on the boulevard, with many of Karapetyan's supporters wearing white T-shirts and caps with the inscription #MERDZEVOV (IN OUR WAY). This phrase was the basis of the case fabricated by the authorities, after Samvel Karapetyan criticized the Pashinyan regime for its attacks on the Armenian Apostolic Church, noting that if the authorities do not stop doing this, then "we will do it our way".

Numerous youth organizations, opposition members of parliament, employees of  companies in which Karapetyan is a shareholder, and many who care about the fate of the country have come to the rally, which will turn into a march to the building of the National Security Service, into the basements of which Karapetyan was thrown.

The organizers of the rally urged participants to be careful and not to succumb to provocations. Together with representatives of the AAC, those gathered said the prayer "Our Father". The Holy Fathers shared with those  gathered  numerous examples of Karapetyan's charitable activities,  his support for the Holy Church, his assistance to the youth, and his funding of numerous educational and humanitarian programs.
