BM Motors Company scammed Chinese electric car fans out of 46 mln  drams

ArmInfo.  BM MOTORS, located on Mashtots Avenue, has vanished after collecting over AMD 46 million ($120,000) from Chinese electric car fans for future car deliveries.  As reported by the Investigative Department of the Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan of the RA Investigative Committee, an investigation was carried out and a criminal case was initiated to determine the circumstances of this fraudulent scheme aimed at swindling money from citizens.

It is noted that between May and October, employees of the company JV "BM MOTORS", which deals with importing and selling cars, has collected various amounts of money from unsuspected customers, under the guise of purchasing cars from China. However, they have failed to deliver the cars to the customers or refund the money

Eight people were recognized as victims, with a total of 46,182,787 drams stolen. The investigation is currently ongoing. Measures are being taken to determine the identities of the director and employees of the company LLC "BM MOTORS". The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia urges citizens to verify the credibility of companies or individuals before entering into any transactions, and encourages those who have suffered from such transactions to contact law enforcement agencies.
