Armenian Ambassador discusses current crisis situation in Lebanon  with Armenian parties

ArmInfo.Vahagn Atabekyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon, met with the representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Ramkavar Azatakan and Social Democratic Hnchakian parties.  As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon, the meeting discussed the current humanitarian, social and security issues in the country. An exchange of views took place regarding the ongoing current crisis situation.  Atabekyan confirmed the Republic of Armenia's support to fraternal Lebanon.

The representatives of the Armenian parties, in turn, emphasized the need for coordinated activities in the current conditions.  An agreement was reached on maintaining consistent working consultations between the embassy and Armenian structures on public concern issues.  It is worth noting that up to 100-120,000 Armenians live in Lebanon according to various estimates.
