Security system cannot exist if linked with army in all aspects -  Armenian premier 

ArmInfo.A security system cannot exist if it is linked in every sense to the army. This was  stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the "Crossroads of Peace: combining security and democracy" forum in Yerevan on October 12.

"In our reality, security is understood first and foremost as the  army, secondly, as the army, thirdly, as the army. But in a situation  where we link security in every sense to the army, this means that  there is no security and cannot be.

Of course, the army plays a key role in ensuring security, but the  role of the army in ensuring security is neither the first nor the  second in priority. I repeat: if it is the first and second, it means  that the security system does not exist and is seriously undermined,"  the Armenian Prime Minister said. 

In this regard, he noted that according to this logic, the  ""Crossroads of Peace: " project is primarily concerned with security  and ensuring well-being.
