Film on legendary Armenian weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan to be screened  in USA 

ArmInfo.The film about the legendary Armenian weightlifter  Nazik Avdalyan will be shown in America. This is the first Armenian sports drama based on real events, the director, producer and screenwriter of which is Anna Maxim, who also played the main role in  the film.

The film shows the difficult life path of the athlete Avdalyan, who,  having received a serious injury as a result of a car accident, left  big-time sports for 7 years. Then, despite the disbelief of those  around her, inhuman physical pain, Nazik returns to the work of her  life, becoming a two-time European champion, thereby proving that if  there is will and an unbending spirit, nothing is impossible.

The film will premiere in the USA on October 13 at the AGBU  Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.  The film's debut screening  took place in Yerevan on September 12 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports  and Concert Complex, and was then shown in Gyumri, where Nazik  Avdalyan is from.

The film also stars Sos Janibekyan, Khoren Levonyan, Mkrtich  Arzumanyan, Babken Chobanyan, David Hakobyan, Artashes Aleksanyan,  Anahit Kocharyan and others; director of photography - Suren  Tadevosyan; film composer - Andranik Berberyan; design - Armen  Ghazaryan.
