MOLSA, Red Cross discuss possibility of implementing new joint initiatives to support Artsakh people 

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia and the Armenian office of the  Red Cross Committee are considering the possibility of implementing  new joint initiatives to support the people of Artsakh. This was  announced during a meeting between the department head Narek  Mkrtchyan and the head of the Red Cross in Armenia David Nersisyan.

It is reported that the parties discussed various issues related to  programs implemented in the field of social protection, including  medium-term and long-term programs to support forcibly displaced  citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh and providing social assistance to  people affected by floods. They also touched upon the necessity to  enhance the quality of services provided to senior citizens, who are  under state care.  Following the meeting, Mkrtchyan and Nersisyan  expressed their readiness to actively develop cooperation.
