The state traffic police reminds parents that the lack of control over the behavior and leisure of their children, as well as the availability of vehicles for them, often lead to injury or death of young road users.
"Parents in no case should not leave the keys and documents from cars and motorcycles to children and teenagers who do not have a driver's license and skills to operate motor vehicles. Thus the very possibility of a dangerous trip is excluded. We draw the attention of parents to the administrative responsibility for allowing children who do not have a driver's license to drive vehicles", - reminds the head of the department of road safety propaganda and prevention of child traffic injuries of the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, police colonel Sergei Khrantsevich.
The traffic police also urge road users not to remain indifferent to the problem of drunkenness at the wheel and timely report to law enforcement agencies about drivers who behave inadequately on the road, driving while intoxicated. Employees of the traffic police are ready to take all necessary operational measures to respond to such reports, emphasize the agency.
Earlier, on September 23, in Krasnodar, the driver of a passenger car, avoiding a collision with another car, drove onto the sidewalk, where he hit three pedestrians. The victims received various injuries and were taken to hospital.
