Teenager stabs 12-year-old girl to death in Irkutsk region

In the village of Tarnopol, Irkutsk region, a 15-year-old teenager stabbed a 12-year-old girl several times, she died from the wounds. This was reported on September 24 by the press service of the Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region in Telegram-channel.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on September 21 at the playground. Between the young man and his acquaintance a quarrel broke out, as a result of which the murder occurred.

The teenager was promptly detained, criminal proceedings were initiated under item "in" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor").

"The prosecutor's office supported the petition of the investigation to elect a measure of restraint for him. The teenager is in custody for 2 months", - added in the regional IC.

The circumstances of the crime are being clarified.

The day before it became known about the attack of a pupil of the 8th grade on peers in Balagansk, Irkutsk region. The teenager broke into the locker room and started swinging a hammer, as a result three children were injured. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened two criminal cases, including negligence against education workers and prevention system bodies.
