In Altai Krai, a light-engine airplane caught a power line and fell down

Not far from the village of Verkhozernoye in Altai Krai, a light-engine aircraft SP-30 crashed, snagging a power line. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on September 24.

It is specified that only the pilot was on board, he was not injured. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are working at the scene.

In the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department on transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (ISDT IC RF) added that an investigative check under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of safety of movement and operation of air transport") is being conducted.

"According to preliminary data, on September 24, 2024 in the village of Bystroystok Bystroistoksky district of Altai Krai, a man on an ultralight aircraft SP-32B1 belonging to him was processing agricultural fields. Distracted by a map, he caught the landing gear strut on a power line and made a hard landing on the ground. The airplane was damaged. There are no casualties," - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

Earlier, on September 22, a Cessna-182 RA3119G light-engine plane made an emergency landing in Voskresensk near Moscow. According to preliminary data, an electrical system malfunction was detected during the flight, resulting in smoke in the cockpit.
