Cosmonauts Kononenko and Chub came to Star City for the first time after the flight
Cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub came to Star City in Moscow Region for the first time after their space flight. This was reported in Roscosmos on September 24.
The cosmonauts were met with a caravan and gifts, welcoming them home. As noted in the publication, Kononenko spent the greatest number of days in space than any other inhabitant of the Earth - 1111.
Since September 2023, under the Russian program, participants of the 70th and 71st long-term expeditions to the ISS Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub conducted scientific and applied experiments, took the expedition and four cargo ships "Progress MS" and performed two spacewalks. Their ship also performed undocking with the Russian-made module "seal".
