Azerbaijan’s rail freight dips, passenger traffic surges in 6M2025

Railway transport in Azerbaijan moved around 9 million tons of cargo and nearly 5 million passengers in the first half of the year. While freight volumes dropped by about 9 percent, passenger traffic saw a notable increase of over 20 percent.
