Azerbaijan’s remittance flows to Türkiye face headwinds in early 2025

Remittances from Azerbaijan to Türkiye declined by around 16 percent in the first quarter of this year, dropping to approximately $32 million. Overall, both outbound and inbound money transfers decreased significantly compared to the same period last year.
