Woman dies in crash after grandson swerves for deer

A 61-year-old woman from Oak died in a single-vehicle accident northeast of Nelson on Saturday after the driver, her grandson, lost control and crashed into Elk Creek, according to the Nuckolls County Sheriff’s Office.
