Surveyor says: Schmitt takes over county surveying task

Eric Schmitt knows he has big shoes to fill. As Houston County’s new surveyor, Schmitt took over when Dick Walter retired after 31 years of revered work. Schmitt was hired on Nov. 29, 2016, and started working on Jan. 3.
