Daghestan's Parliament Amends 'Law On Golden Parachutes'

There is ongoing speculation that Daghestani republic head Ramazan Abdulatipov, who turned 70 last year, will be dismissed before his formal term in office ends next year, possibly to be replaced by a Russian Interior Ministry general. (The views expressed in this blog post do not necessarily reflect the views of RFE/RL.)
