Gambian President Jammeh Accuses West African Countries of Declaring War

Gambian President Yahya Jammeh accused Sunday the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) of declaring a war following the organization’s threat to send troops to the country in case of the president’s refusal to leave the office by a set deadline.
