Russian Ambassador's Remains Arrive Back in Moscow After Assassination

CBS News reported on Tuesday that Ambassador Adrei Karlov's body arrived back in Moscow to his grieving family. Karlov was killed on Monday at an art opening by Mevlut Mert Altintas, a 22 year-old Turkish police officer.Altintas was photographed and recorded throughout the attack, where he claimed the heavy costs of the Syrian war were not just limited to the battlefields and ruins of Aleppo, “Whoever has been part of this cruelty will pay for it one by one." Altintas' family members and roommate have now been detained by the Turkish authorities as investigations are underway to determine if the shooter was acting alone.
