Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox reaches agreement to take over Sky for £11.7bn 

Murdoch last bid for the British broadcaster Sky five years ago but was forced to abandon it at the height of the phone hacking scandal. His new attempt today values the firm at £18.5bn.
