Armenian officials’ cash income to be restricted by law
YEREVAN, December 15. /ARKA/. Armenia’s National Assembly passed Thursday at the first reading amendments to the civil service law.
In accordance with the amendments, Armenian officials will be not allowed to receive income in cash exceeding AMD 2 million (around $4,100).
Arpine Hovhannisyan, justice minister, said that if an official receives more than AMD 2 million, this money will be considered illegal. ---0----
