Pakistan Will Not Get $100 Million Loan From World Bank for Gas Project

The World Bank has cancelled a $100-million loan to Pakistan for a natural gas efficiency project, citing zero progress in achieving the objectives of a five-year development plan and no interest on the part of the gas distribution company in honoring the agreement.
