Armenia and Azerbaijan "take their arms race to a new level”

“Azerbaijan made several significant purchases of modern weapons recently, which we had to outbalance. We have “Smerch” too today, and “Iskander” that no one else in the region has,” Shavarsh Kocharyan said.

Deputy FM noted, “There are two ways to end this undesirable phenomenon.”

“The first is renewal of negotiation process and signing of a peace agreement. The second is that Azerbaijan can try again to solve the issue by force,” Shavarsh Kocharyan said and expressed the opinion that possibility of the second option will decrease.
